Fall is in season, and what better way to celebrate than beer pulled pork that simply falls apart in your mouth? This isn’t just your usual pork; use your favorite beer to add some tang to the meat for the tender, savory texture of meat with a hint of beer.
Whether you want to serve it on hamburger buns as shown above, or you want to add it onto a pizza or taco, this recipe is perfect for any occasion! I also want to remind you guys that since this recipe uses a slow cooker, it’s incredibly simple and requires only basic ingredients. Let’s go!
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Place your pork roast in the slow cooker. Next season with salt, ground black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Then add the beer around the roast and place lid on slow cooker.
Cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 8 hours.
Remove pork from slow cooker and shred meat. Drain the liquids and stir barbeque sauce into the shredded meat. Cook on medium for 1 hour. Serve!
