Having a sumptuous dessert is just as important as eating the main dish of your meal. Dessert plays an important role in every meal because it provides additional nutrients and provides balance in your diet.

However, dessert is often sweet and it makes one wonder whether it ruins their diet because of its sugar content.

Worry no more because this dessert will make you eat without worrying about sugar intake and weight gain.

You might ask, is that even possible? Yes, it is!

This quick and easy dessert recipe features one important nutrient that helps with muscle build-up – protein.

According to WebMD:

Protein is crucial for your body’s health, found in various parts like organs, muscles, and bones. It gives you energy, helps carry oxygen in your blood, fights off illnesses, and supports cell health.

Not having enough protein can lead to muscle loss, while too much may turn into fat. Ideally, 10% to 35% of your daily calories should come from protein. As you age, you might need more to prevent muscle loss.

If you’re overweight, cutting down on calories is necessary, and a dietitian can guide you on protein intake. Some diets advocate high protein and fat but low carbs, yet they may only work short-term. Focusing solely on protein and fat can lead to nutrient deficiencies and unpleasant side effects like fatigue and headaches.

“This is one of my favorite protein desserts: healthy yogurt bake. It’s not just a dessert; you can also make this recipe for breakfast. If you’re looking for a post-workout snack, it will refuel your body with high-quality protein. The best part is it’s super easy to make; it requires just five ingredients and 5 minutes of prep time,” said Sasha, the guy behind the channel.
