For the Chocolate Mug Cake

13 g Butter ( 1 tbsp )
12 g Cocoa Powder ( 2 tbsp)
30 g Sugar ( 2 tbsp)
25 g room temp Milk ( 2 tbsp)
20 g Flour ( 2 tbsp)
1/4 tsp Baking Powder ( Use Baking POWDER not soda)
Nutella ( Optional ) or Chocolate Chips ( Optional)

For the Cookie Mug Cake

13 g Butter ( 1 tbsp )
15 g Sugar ( 1 tbsp )
1/4 tsp Vanilla
25 g room temp Milk ( 2 tbsp)
30 g All Purpose Flour ( 3 tbsp)
1/4 tsp Baking Powder ( Use Baking POWDER not soda)
Chocolate Chips ( Add to your liking )

For the Vanilla Mug Cake

13 g Butter ( 1 tbsp )
15 g Sugar ( 1 tbsp )
1/4 tsp Vanilla
25 g room temp Milk ( 2 tbsp)
30 g All Purpose Flour ( 3 tbsp)
1/4 tsp Baking Powder ( Use Baking POWDER not soda)
Sprinkles ( Optional )

Emma has a reminder though, “If you’re using grams, please be precise and use the exact amounts in the recipe. Every microwave is different. Mug cakes can take anywhere between 1 minute – 1 minute and 15 seconds. Be careful to not over cook your cake.”

Step 1: First, melt butter with vanilla directly in each mug. If you’re using teacups, make sure they’re larger than mine for easy mixing. Then, add sugar to the first two mug cakes – white for vanilla confetti and brown for chocolate chip. Give them a quick mix.

Step 2: For the chocolate mug cake, bloom the cocoa powder by adding it to warm milk in the mug. Be sure the milk isn’t cold to prevent lumps.

Step 3: Now, add flour and baking powder. It’s better to use a bigger mug to avoid overmixing. You can use a fork to mix, but scrape the bottom with a spatula for thorough mixing.

Step 2: Next, microwave each mug cake for exactly one minute. Don’t forget to place the mug in the center of the microwave and avoid overcooking.
