The holiday season is here already.

Traditionally, a great way to enjoy the season with friends and family is with meals and snacks.

But with creativity and art, simple snacks can look great.

In a video shared by user “How to Make yummy” on Youtube, they use common fruits and vegetables you can buy in a grocery store.

Cucumbers are used as the base, so you need six, 1-inch thick slices at least.

Let’s start with bell pepper.

First, we cut the edges of a small Bell Pepper, the end result would look like a freshly-bloomed red flower.

Place them into a bowl with water to be used later.

Slice about a 2-inch thick cucumber then cut in half lengthwise.

We’ll be removing a small part of the skin in the mid-section to show the lighter area.

Cut them into thinner slices.

Using a toothpick, skewer the thin slices and arrange them to look like a circular staircase. Attach them to the base.

Put a cherry tomato on top to finish.

Next, cut 1 slice of 3-inch long cucumber then cut lengthwise.

We then cut thinner slices, but leave a thin part connecting 6 slices before cutting entirely on the 7th slice.

We need two of these.

Fold the second and fifth slices of each. Skewer them in the middle part.

Then attach them to the base cucumber.

With the bell pepper which we cut earlier, skewer them to the top. The end result would look like a red flower with green leaves.

Next up, carrots decor.

Using only one side, use a Peeler to cut the carrot into long, thin cuts, we would be needing 4 of the widest cuts.

Get a toothpick and skewer the thin-sliced carrots which would look like a swirl design.

Then attach it to the cucumber base. Use cherry tomatoes to top it.

Let’s make a tasty snowman.

You can use any red-skinned fruit and white on the inside, small ones are best to use.

We need 4 of these, skin the first two to be used as heads, then for the body, just cut small parts of the skin to represent the buttons.

Use a toothpick to skewer them.

We can use whole black pepper seeds for the eyes and cut small slices of carrots to represent the nose.

Just punch small holes and insert the black peppers and the carrots.

You can also add hats and other decorations as necessary.

The hands can be taken from a small cut of cucumber edge.

Adorable, aren’t they?

How about a cucumber Christmas tree?

Cut about 3-inch thick cucumber and cut it lengthwise.

Cut triangle-shaped slices on each side near the edges, but keep a small piece in the middle to represent the branch.

Then cut the edges in a triangle shape to represent the tree leaves.

Skewer the tree and attach it to the base, then cut a star-shaped carrot and place it on top!

The last art decoration would look like a man in a red dress with a basket.

A carrot is used for the dress so you can cut a slice of carrot, and cut it to look like a dress.

Use a small round fruit as the head and place black peppers as eyes, and carrots as noses.

You can use blueberries cut in half as buttons.
