Smokies are great, and we all know that bacon is amazing. So what do you get when you combine these two together? An epic appetizer that is guaranteed to satisfy any lucky eater. Not only are these incredibly simple to make, they’re guaranteed to be a hit at any party. While each batch can make around 40 smokies, don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s going to be enough. These little guys will disappear within minutes. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package of Bacon (1 lb)
  • 1 package of Little Smokies (cocktail weenies)
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar (more if needed)

DIRECTIONS:

First, you’ll want to soak the toothpicks in water (around 20 minutes prior to assembly). This will ensure that the toothpicks won’t catch on fire while you’re baking. Next, preheat oven to 325°F.

Cut bacon into thirds and dredge them in brown sugar. Wrap bacon all the way around sausage and secure it with a toothpick.
