Meet Delaney of Beaverton, Oregon.
She needs to make a video, but her family’s a little quirky! Isaac, her dad, loves to dance… and it’s distracting!
It all started with a simple command:
“Alexa, play Kidz Bop Kidz.”
Delaney describes what she’s going to be doing today. She seems like a smart kid!
Mark Ronson’s jam “Uptown Funk” adds some spunk to her arts and crafts. But, out of the left of the camera comes a wonderful surprise!
Dad, sporting a lime green shirt and a penchant for fun, slides into view dancing along to the Kidz Bop version of Ronson’s modern hit.
Dad gets a little sexy with it.
He’s earned the new nickname – “Justin Timberlake.” Perfectly in rhythm, he flares his curves from the perfect places behind the kitchen counter!
He has some serious swagger!
All the while, his lovely daughter doesn’t see a thing.
It’s cute how she’s almost intentionally oblivious to Dad’s delicious dancing!
In her defense, Dad stays silent throughout the entirety of his performance, outside of the occasional clap to the beat.
“’Cause uptown funk gon’ give it to you

Saturday night and we in the spot
Don’t believe me just watch (come on)”
What’s Dad got in his dancing bag?
Honestly, he’s not too bad. Most Dads don’t come close!
“Yow!!!”
At first it, it seems like his daughter doesn’t even acknowledge him. A few seconds later, in the calmest tone she says,
“That’s my dad.”
Delaney doesn’t turn around, nor does she take her eyes off her crafts.
She’s an art machine! And she’s immune to her father’s antics… and she’s seen them countless times before.
THEY DON’T PHASE HER!
During the rising tension of Ronson’s smash hit, Dad starts losing it.
He even thrusts Baby Brother into the action!
Meanwhile, Daughter doesn’t bat an eye! Don’t believe me just watch!
Daughter Delaney cycles through a variety of oddly colored glues. She asks a hilarious, hard-hitting question,
“What is wrong with this family?”
By this point, her previously unseen older brother joins in on the dancing shenanigans!
Although she seems irritated, she absolutely loves it! Dad swings in with Baby Brother.
Before long, his daughter’s nothing but smiles and giggles!
Wow, what a rad, fun family! Dad and her brothers pop their heads into her arts and crafts demonstrations a few more times. But she’s not annoyed. She likes their wackiness!
A few moments later, she holds up a project for future viewers to see.
So what’s the story behind the video? Well, Delaney was doing a video tutorial for a class assignment.
Basically, the video was for her teachers!
Isaac had no idea, making it even more hilarious!
Jennifer, Delaney’s mom found the video on the school’s website.
She couldn’t resist uploading it to Facebook for the world to see
“20 years from now, we’ll look back and say ‘remember that time where it was really hard and it was really emotional and the whole world was struggling but we were able to find joy in those moments?’ I think that’s why people relate to this video so much.”
