We are just a few weeks away from the start of the holiday season. Amid the pandemic crisis, families are still up to bringing the holiday spirit to their homes. Nothing will stop us from celebrating and enjoying this much-awaited season of the year.

And for the kids, there are probably two things (but not limited to) that they always look forward to. Gifts and treats!

Luckily, this company is bringing another unique flavor to their arsenal of already bizarre products.

“We make weird!”

As their company’s slogan goes, they sure make products that are out of this world.

They don’t stand to just being mediocre when it comes to product creation. That is what makes ‘Archie McPhee’ standout from the others.

According to Wikipedia:

“The company’s line expanded from rubber chickens to glow-in-the-dark aliens, bacon-scented air freshener, and hula-girl swizzle sticks among other items. It became a popular Seattle tourist destination while maintaining enough countercultural credentials that Ben & Jerry’s Wavy Gravy ice cream was introduced at a party on the premises in 1993.”

Humble beginnings.

On their website, they wrote a bit of background about how the owner, Mark Pahlow, started the business:

“Our owner, Mark Pahlow, started the business selling rubber lizards and other crazy things out of his house in L.A. He found that people couldn’t get enough of his collectible junk, but he needed space for his company to grow. Risking it all, he packed his entire inventory into a U-Haul truck and headed for Seattle. In 1983 he set up shop with two employees in Seattle’s Fremont district using the name “Archie McPhee.” For a while, his retail sales were under the name Archie McPhee and he made his products under the name Accoutrements before finally settling on Archie McPhee Wholesale. He wrote a book called Who Would Buy This? The Archie McPhee Story that goes into more detail about his background and the roots of the business.”

And for the coming holiday season, this Seattle-based company brings another addition to their stocking stuffers.

Archie McPhee recently introduced its ketchup-flavored candy canes. These red and white striped treats may look mouth-watering, especially to kids. But anyone who is expecting the usual candy cane taste from this product will be… We don’t know, it depends on whoever eats it.

Again, it’s an Archie McPhee product, so expect it to be “weird.”

Archie McPhee vows to give your tastebuds another one of a kind treat.

Their Ketchup Candy Canes will “take your holiday from meh to magnificent.” We all know that ketchup is a condiment that gives additional spice to any food but never have I imagined that it will be fused into a candy.

You can have these uniquely flavored candy canes in a pack of 6 for only $6.50.

They also offer free shipping to online shoppers who spend at least $35.00. Not only that, but each order also comes with a free gift.

If you’re thinking that Ketchup Candy Canes are their only offer this holiday, then you are terribly mistaken.

Along with this condiment-flavored treat are other flavors that pack a “unique” taste.

Asian or Asian cuisine lovers, this one is for you!

For this season, Archie McPhee has also introduced their new Shiitake Mushroom Candy Canes and Pho Candy Canes. They have the Pho Candy Canes colored green and white which represents the food’s dominant colors.

Note: Pho is Vietnam’s national dish. It is a Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat, sometimes chicken. Pho is a popular food in Vietnam where it is served in households, street stalls, and restaurants.
