Struggling to get the perfect cook on your baked chicken? We have a quick and easy recipe that will give you some juicy chicken ready to eat in under 45 minutes.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 baking pan

Boneless chicken breast

Butter/olive oil

Salt (for the brine)

Your desired seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Time to brine your chicken! Fill a bowl with warm (not hot) water and add about a handful of salt. Set your chicken into the bowl and let it brine for at least 15 minutes. If you have the time, feel free to allow your chicken to brine for as long as 6 hours, but no longer than that.
  2. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. We are baking with a high temperature here to help retain those juices.
  3. Take out the chicken breasts pat them dry with a few paper towels. Place them inside your baking pan and coat them with either butter or olive oil. It’s really up to personal preference here, but be sure to get a nice thin layer around the whole breast.
  4. Season with salt and pepper (or any other seasoning you wish).
  5. Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes.
  6. When the time is up, take out your chicken. If you are working with a cooking thermometer, you are looking for an internal temperature of 160-170 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Cover the baking pan for 5-10 minutes and allow your chicken to rest and soak up those delicious juices.

Enjoy your juicy baked chicken!
