Look no further than this delicious six ingredient creation.
Delmira Cooking is a very popular recipe channel on Youtube, and they have done it again with this wonderful treat.
Gather all your ingredients and tools, as listed at the bottom of this article, and let’s get started.
The first step is to peel all 5 of your oranges, so they are ready to go when you need them, remember to leave them whole, they do not need to be segmented.
To your pot, add 550 ml of milk, 35 grams of sugar, and 7 grams of agar agar powder.
Whisk these ingredients together and place them over a medium-high heat on your stove.
Continue whisking while boiling, until the mixture has thickened, then remove from heat.
Add two ladles, or 120 grams, into the bottom of the 18x7x6 cm pan.
While you let the liquid in the pan begin to harden, ensure the remaining liquid in the pot does not harden by placing the pot in hot water.
Once the liquid in the pan has hardened, line up your oranges horizontally on top of that layer.
Ladle the rest of the liquid into the pan, making sure to keep the oranges upright and aligned.
Place this in the fridge to harden.
Either clean the pot you used in the first step or get a new pot and it is now time for the next step.
Add the remaining milk, sugar, and agar agar powder to the pot and whisk it well.
Next, add the cocoa powder to the pot and stir until it is fully combined.
Place this back over the medium-high heat and let it boil while whisking until thickened.
Add the dark chocolate and let it melt while boiling, continue mixing until thickened.
In your 20x9x7 cm pan, add two ladles, or 160 grams, to the bottom of the pan and let it harden.
While this is hardening, remove the other pan from the fridge.
Put an upside-down plate on top of the pan and flip everything over, the plate should be right side up with the upside-down pan on top of it.
Tap the bottom of the pan gently until the contents slide out and onto the plate.
Place this orange and milk rectangle on top of the hardened chocolate layer in the bigger pan.
Ladle the rest of your chocolate mixture into the pan until the contents are completely covered.
Place with into the fridge for a few hours to harden and set completely.
Remove this filled chocolate rectangle from the pan using the same method as above.
You can now slice into and enjoy your beautiful and delicious dessert.
Note, ingredients are separated by stage of the recipe.
