You can show off your artistic skills and creativity with these chocolate-coated strawberry bouquets and the best part about this is how easy the recipe is.

You’ll need the following.

  • Dry floral block
  • Mugs
  • Medium-sized strawberries
  • White chocolate
  • Wooden skewers
  • Edible food decorations

First, prepare the bouquet bases.

If you’re looking to give these away, you can use generic ceramic mugs or cups, just as long as they’re enough to hold the bouquet you’re planning to build.

Press the mug lip side down onto the dry floral block to mark the circumference. Trim the floral block to make them into cylinders.

Next, prepare the skewers.

Wash the strawberries in water to ensure that the surface of the fruit is clean. You don’t need to trim the leaves.

After they dry, stick your skewers into the top part of the strawberry. Keep them chilled in your fridge.

If you don’t have small wooden skewers, you can use the longer ones and then trim them to the length you need.

Make the chocolate coating.

Finely chop your block of chocolate. You can also use chocolate chips. In any case, make sure that the ratio and compound you’re using must set well on their own.

Put your chocolate in a metal mixing bowl or a double boiler. Remember, do not melt the chocolates directly over the fire because they will burn.

Instead, place the bowl in a saucepan with simmering water. Do not let the water touch the bowl.

Stir occasionally to make sure that your chocolate is tempering equally. Once the chocolate cools down, you can mix in the colors of your choice.

Decorate those beautiful berries.

Here comes the fun part. Dip the strawberry into the colored chocolate mixtures. In this video, the creator used white, teal, and pink.

You can use different kinds of sprinkles, like pearls, chips, or leaves. Mix together different shapes for a more creative finish.

You can also use edible glitter powder to give a more luxurious coat to your strawberries.

You can also drizzle excess chocolate on some of the strawberries for more design varieties. Just go wild with your ideas or create a theme, it’s all up to you.

Finally, assemble the bouquets.

Stick your strawberry skewers in a circular pattern and in layers. The size of your bouquet depends on the size of your base.

Mugs can have smaller bouquets while bigger bowls can have more elaborate structures.

Once your strawberries are in place, you can use different fabrics to ramp up the flair.

Did someone say tulle?

Cut out some tulle and fill the gaps in your bouquet with it. You can also use ribbons or wrapping tissue for added texture and accent.
