It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, an adult, or a kid at heart – there’s nothing yummier than a homemade dessert. However, making one from scratch isn’t always so simple.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could whip up a delicious peach cobbler yourself, without any hassle? It’s a warm, classic dessert that’s perfect for holidays, get-togethers, or a weekday night (because why not). Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and we’re talking pure heaven!
Fortunately, making peach cobbler at home can be super easy.
Below are two recipes you’re going to want to try – especially if you’d prefer serving a dessert that isn’t store-bought. And if you want a glimpse into how simple it can be, the second peach cobbler recipe only requires three ingredients! No seriously, three.
“Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler”
The first peach cobbler recipe calls for a slow cooker, a kitchen appliance a lot of us love! Slow Cooking Perfected created a video to show how to make the mouthwatering treat.
Here’s what you’ll need:
(For the peach mixture)
- 5 cups of sliced peaches without juice (canned or fresh)
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
(For the cake batter mixture)
- 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
(Additional ingredient)
- 1/2 cup of butter (melted)
Step One:
Add the sliced peaches to a mixing bowl. Then, top them with the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir gently until the ingredients are combined. Set bowl aside.
Step Two:
Get out a different mixing bowl. Add in the flour, sugar, and salt. Pour in the milk and stir until the batter is smooth. Set bowl aside.
Step Three:
Pour the melted butter into the slow cooker and spread it evenly around the bottom.
Step Four:
Now, add the peach slices to the slow cooker.
Step Five:
Lastly, top the peaches with the cake batter. Cover and cook on low for approximately 3-4 hours (or until the middle is cooked).
Doesn’t that look amazing? Talk about a yummy dessert that takes little effort.

Then for the next one: “Three Ingredient Peach Cobbler”
If you want to get really, really simple – this is a peach cobbler recipe that practically makes itself. Yet, just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not going to have your guests cheering!
Ingredients:
- 1 can of peaches
- 1 box of cake mix
- 1 stick of butter (sliced)
Step One:
Add the canned peaches (with juice) to a baking dish. Spread around evenly.
Step Two:
Sprinkle the cake mix on top of the sliced peaches.
Step Three:
Place the butter slices evenly around the baking dish, on top of the ingredients.
Bake at 350-degrees for 35 minutes.
That’s all it takes to make this three-ingredient peach cobbler! In the video posted by Share Healthy Food, they top theirs with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, which really is the perfect touch.
