A memorable performance on stage doesn’t need to have extravagant props and production. Sometimes, less just means more, and that’s what happened in this hilarious video.
These two teenage guys just need tutus, colorful socks, headbands, and an inflatable beach ball to entertain the crowd.
At the JL Crowe Variety Show back in 2015, the audience turns boisterous as they watch the hilarious act put up by these two gentlemen. While their outfit alone is already hysterical, just wait until they perform, because they are also hiding some talent behind those silly costumes!
They are probably living up to the famous saying “no risk – no reward” that’s why they have decided upon doing such a skit.
Nolan and Jayden are the brave “dancers” who starred on stage during this variety show, which happens yearly in British Columbia.
Before they even start their act, they look at each other and can’t believe their eyes. Even they couldn’t help but let some laughs at how they looked.
Admit it, they look so ridiculously funny!
To be on stage wearing tutus, colorful socks, and headbands is something that would require more than just guts, but an immeasurable amount of confidence, too. It’s pretty obvious that they are set to do a performance that both of them would never forget for the rest of their lives.
It might be all worth it, just listen to the crowd’s hearty laughs and cheers. Brace yourselves as they blow you away with their performance.
Ladies and gentlemen, Nolan and Jayden!
Their act is set to Bonnie Tyler’s 80s classic, “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”
Just seconds after the song starts, the two gentlemen also begin to move in circles while they look into each other’s eyes deeply.
But when they start to squish the beach ball in between their chests, we already know that these two lads are up to something.
Can you figure out what’s going to happen next?
Whether you are a regular or new to variety shows, you will never know what and who is going to perform next once the huge curtain opens. Variety shows are usually filled with dancers and singers, but sometimes, unexpected performances also grace the big stage just to give the audience a memorable experience that is worth their while.
Soon, they start rolling the beach ball between their arms, keeping it off the ground.
It may not be the grandest skit that you would see on a big stage, but the fact that they are teenage guys wearing some silly ballerina outfits simply puts everything in tune for a hilarious skit.
They move forward, backward, and sideways, still while keeping the beach ball off the ground.
Nolan and Jayden spin the ball using all the parts of their hand. At some point, we can imagine them like axes and the beach ball is Earth.
Both guys gracefully spin while maintaining the beach ball in balance and rolling in between them, from their chests, backs, arms, and hands.
They are obviously all-in with their act. Their composure is simply amazing, though from afar, we can see them trying not to laugh at their own routine. If these two guys were the guardians of the world, I bet nothing would go wrong, wouldn’t you agree?
Then one of the guys takes a deep breath.
At one point in their performance, they stop with the ball between their chests.
The other guy points at the ball, most likely telling his partner that “It’s time!” While the other gives that look like he’s saying, “Did I really sign up for this?”
When he starts to roll down his friend’s body, we are all like, “that explains the deep breath earlier!”
Unfortunately, as he tries to get through his partner’s legs, there’s a whoopsie! Uh-oh, they drop the precious beach ball! He tries it again but still fails.
Well, it doesn’t really matter that much because the audience is already rolling in their seats.
And they end their act “small.”
It seems that it’s already the final part of their skit when one of the guys kicks the ball off to the crowd.
Little do we know, they are to switch the big beach ball out for something pretty decent in size. Someone from the backstage tossed a palm-size ball and once again, the guy starts rolling down his friend’s body but eventually gives up like saying, “I’m done! I’m outta here!”
In fact, it’s not the only act of its kind. A quick search on YouTube will give you lots of beach ball dances with funny results, but this is definitely among the best of them!
