High School is where you determine your future. Why? Simply because it is where you find out what your true talent is, it is also where you unlock your true potential in something and discover hidden abilities that you are not aware of.

To achieve all these before even going to college, you need time, effort, energy, dedication, and passion.

You’ve gotta put your heart in it.

Worry not because these are fun and healthy channels where you can exhale all the stress from the pressure that you get from the tons of school workloads. It’s far from the usual classes that you attend for your academic subjects.

It’s even more fun if you get to share these activities with your friends.

Apart from sports activities that are definitely engaging and fun to watch, there are also some musically-inclined programs that every school has.

Let’s take the ‘drumline’ as an example.

According to Wikipedia:

“A “drumline,” also known as the “battery,” or “batterie,” is a section of percussion instruments usually played as part of a musical marching ensemble. A drumline can also be a section on their own competing against other drumlines. Marching bands, drum and bugle corps, and indoor percussion ensembles are some examples of groups that include a drumline.”

Drumline is one of the best ways to have fun at school. Unlike the other ways of playing the drums, requires both creativity and choreography in equal measure.

It is where you can unleash the musical beast in you. The best part of it is how you engage and enthrall the people watching with the inviting beat that you create.

These boys from Lake Howell High School will show us how it’s done.

They are all wearing kilts (though they are not Scottish), paired with plain black shirts, the boys confidently entered the stage. This 5-man team consisted of Nigel, Dylan, Matt, Elias, and Jordan- and they all came in ready.

Lend them your eyes and ears, these high school boys are going to bring the house down with their drumline performance.

They are the Hot Scots!

In any competition, you wouldn’t be this relaxed, not unless you know that you have your A-game with you.

They were all smiling and goofing around as they assemble in the middle of the stage.

As soon as they got into their respective positions, they immediately showed why they deserve our attention.

They started strong with a barrage of fast-paced choreography.

They were literally playing with their drumsticks but the beat and rhythm were there. They are ridiculously awesome!

We are pretty sure that it took them a lot of time to master such a creative routine.

Not only did they create a beat that was instantly infectious, but they were also able to display complicated exhibitions throughout their performance.

There were even moments wherein they seemed to be dancing.

They also sang!

With all the comic faces and highly-entertaining routine, this group is definitely a show-stopper! Without the video’s description, you wouldn’t even think that it was a competition.

Do they deserve to win? It’s a resounding “YES” for me. Just look at how they flawlessly execute each sequence.

Moving around, tapping each other’s drums, tossing their drumsticks in the air, hitting the drums with only one hand, playing with one hand at the back, and the most amazing part was when the guy in the middle used his mouth to hold a drumstick!

What else do they need to do? There’s no wonder why they were hailed the winners of the talent show.
