Cook Time: 15-25 minutes

Ingredients:

Bundle of Asparagus

1 Tsp. Olive Oil

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of Black Pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and pull out a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Chop off the tough bottom ends of the asparagus. These parts are often a lighter color, so you want to cut right where the asparagus turns solid green.
  3. Place your asparagus on the baking sheet and drizzle the olive oil on top.
  4. Pinch your salt and pepper over them to your desired seasoning.
  5. Using your hands, move the asparagus around, spreading your oil and seasoning evenly throughout.
  6. Once coated, spread your asparagus out over the baking sheet, doing your best so they don’t touch one another. Having them spread apart helps them roast more evenly.
  7. Place them in the oven for 15-25 minutes. It helps to begin checking at the 15 minute mark. The longer the asparagus cooks the softer the texture, so it’s really up to personal preference here.
