A modern piano has a total of 88 keys which are divided into seven octaves. Being considered both as a string and a percussion instrument, it is without a doubt, one of the most difficult instruments to master.

Whoever plays the piano knows that there are other important things to be mindful of, other than the complexity of the number of its keys.

This 17th-century musical instrument also requires its player to apply the concepts of melody, harmony, and rhythm at once.

Learning how to play the piano is just the beginning, mastering it is another story.

This 12-year-old boy seems to have it all and he is ready to boggle our minds with his skills.

In a YouTube video which he uploaded on a channel named Harrison Piano, he explained what had happened during that day.

He sat at the vacant public piano and dazzled the shoppers, bystanders, and passers-by with a medley of some 90s dance music.

Per the video’s description:

“Watch as shoppers stop to watch my favourite piano dance mix.
Whilst shopping in Liverpool One Shopping centre I noticed a public piano that was empty so decided to play a mix of Dance Classics from the 1990s. Within minutes a crowd gathered and I was delighted with the applauds I received at the end of my performance.”

He looks at the person holding the video recorder like he was saying, “I am ready!”

The kid’s name is Harrison Crane, and just seconds after, he quickly strokes his fast-moving fingers on the keys.

Passers-by couldn’t help but give some of their time to the performing kid.

Their faces show nothing but amazement. Some of them are probably in disbelief because the beautiful melody from the piano is coming from a young little boy.

He starts playing “Children.”

Without even telling what the song is, you could probably tell that it’s the 1996 instrumental music of the Italian composer Robert Miles.

Just a few moments after displaying his skills by playing a couple of parts of the music, he flawlessly transitions to “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” by Eiffel 65, then he follows that shortly after with DJ Darude’s “Sandstorm.”

With his amazing young talent, he gathers a crowd and gives them a musical treat during their shopping trip.

Some of the passers-by decide to stay and listen to Crane’s majestic music. Some of them even have their phones out to record the public performance.

Not minding the number of people watching, the young performer playfully hammers each key on the piano to come up with a perfect melody.

He is playing the piano like a pro and he is making it look so easy.

The crowd starts tapping their feet along with him when he starts playing “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes.

Who wouldn’t be carried away by his astounding talent? The chance to see a young boy mastering melody, harmony, and rhythm all at the same time is beyond surprise, especially given that it’s a public piano performance.

He circles back to the song “Children” as he ends his performance. The crowd gives all the love back to Crane as they extend their gratitude with resounding cheers and rounds of applause.
