It is not a secret that divorce is common among celebrities. That is why it’s inspiring to see famous people who have found everlasting love- especially with someone who is also in the limelight.
Jason Momoa and his wife Lisa Bonet are among these stars.
They’ve been together for more than 14 years and are happily living with their kids.

A few days ago, Jason showed a glimpse of what he can do to make Lisa happy.
He shared a video on his YouTube channel and it’s pretty sentimental.
It’s all about his wife’s first car – which is a 1965 Ford Mustang.
The actress purchased the car when she was 17 and now that she is 52 years old, the car was still with her. Since it’s filled with lots of memories, she never planned to get rid of it and really wanted to restore it someday.
Her husband was the one who made it happen.
“I know we can’t relive a memory but maybe we can rebuild one.”
These were Jason’s words when he was sharing old clips showing his wife’s precious car.
After many years, of course, it turned into a worn-out vehicle that is rusty and grubby. Jason wanted to restore it and surprise his wife with the outcome.
“Aloha everyone, this is 14 years in the making. I wanted to surprise my wife with her first car she ever bought and bring it back to life and into our family.”
With the help of custom automotive builder Divine 1 Customs, Jason’s plans became achievable.
They started by cleaning it and changed almost all of its parts. Divine 1 Customs even shared some details of the parts that they replaced including the interior, steering, lighting, and the engine.
“Rebuilt 289 with @msdperformance EFI, coil, distributor, and plug wires. @knfilters for the oil. Floor replaced with @drakeautogroup sheet metal. Bedliner treatment to the interior sheet metal and complete underside. @ppgrefinish with the win on the color. Pearl green over black base. Custom mix.”
And man, oh man- is it ever a work of beauty!
They also disposed of all the shabby parts and changed them with new ones.
It was a total renovation!
With all the hard work they put into it, it turned out pretty amazing!
When Jason saw the result with his two daughters, he couldn’t believe his eyes.
It’s like he is looking at a new car. His reaction is priceless!
Out of happiness, he even leaned his head on the car like he was hugging it. He couldn’t hide his joy as his plans finally happened! He’s like a kid who’s super happy about his new toy.
It’s a dream come true!
Jason expressed his happiness for his wife. He knows how important the car is to her, so he’s glad that he was able to restore it so she can finally enjoy it again.
“It’s a big dream come true because this was my wife’s first car. I’m excited to see her face. It’s come a long way.”
The surprise
Jason excitedly showed Lisa her newly-restored car. As he said, he was really excited to see her reaction.
Lisa was speechless and completely stunned by the new look of her old car.
Everything happened just as Jason planned it. That’s why you can see the bliss on his face, too. It was so pure. They even gave each other a kiss and a tight hug which shows how they love each other genuinely.
The entire family immediately went for a test drive with all smiles on their faces.
Jason obviously has fame and wealth but it’s amazing how he prioritizes the happiness of his family- especially his wife. He surely enjoys the saying “happy wife, happy life.”
