We often see flash mobs and marriage proposals here, there, and in many places over the internet. It’s always a delight to see such surprises and it gives so much positivity not only to the people involved in the act and the crowd present during the event itself but also those who get the chance to see it online.
We all know that a flash mob is already a surprise, right? But what if this surprise hides another surprise? Have you seen anything like that?
The video below shows an epic dance flash mob that hides one man’s hidden agenda- a marriage proposal!
It was a beautiful day at Leicester Square in London, England and everyone was busy doing their daily routines that day.
Street buskers were everywhere, families were dining and wandering around the square.
Little did they know, an epic surprise was about to happen that day, not just one, but two!
It was the winter of 2018.
According to the flash mob video, a woman named Romi came to London to meet a friend. Little did she know that her boyfriend, Bharat, was also in the country.
She didn’t know, had not even the slightest idea, that the BIGGEST surprise of her life was about to happen that day.
It all started when an acting couple asked her to take their picture.
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a guy in a hoodie jacket began dancing in the middle of the unsuspecting crowd.
Pretty soon, the guy was joined by two other girls, and together they danced to Beware by Panjabi MC featuring Jay-Z.
The crowd then made space for the young fellas and they began filming the street act.
The music changed a couple of times and pretty soon, there were already eight of them dancing in the middle of a much larger crowd.
Then suddenly, they put a mask on.
Romi was among the large audience watching in total amazement, and surprisingly, she was also recording the whole act.
She had no idea that it was all for her.
The dancers then wore a mask and they danced to Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk.
During that part of their performance, another guy in a blue hoodie joined the team. Romi, still unaware, that the guy is dearly related to her heart and life.
The performance ended with a blast of some colorful confetti, but the real surprise was not the dance flash mob.
One member took Romi from the audience and, to her surprise, the last guy who joined the dancers was none other than Bharat.
It was not a dance flash mob, after all, it was a well-planned wedding proposal for her!
Romi was in total shock to see Bharat (maybe she also didn’t know that all this time, her boyfriend is a good dancer).
He removed his mask and kneeled before her, then popped-out a ring and asked Romi to marry him.
The crowd was as equally-surprised as Romi, but they were all clapping and cheering her to say “yes”.
Romi finally said “yes” and the people couldn’t help but be moved by the sweet moment happening in front of their eyes.
The cameraman was spinning around the couple while ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars was playing in the background. Classic romance movie technique if I may say, right?
