What are the things that can be considered precious? Diamond pieces of jewelry? Luxury cars? Gold trophies, awards, and achievements?
For some people, precious are those things that couldn’t be bought by any amount of money. But what would you do if you accidentally lost the memorabilia that is so dear to you?
Mara Soriano, 28, experienced this exact situation just recently.
She was deeply devastated when her bag filled with important items got stolen. It had her valuable gadgets like iPad Pro, Nintendo Switch, and Apple Pencil.
She immediately posted a plea on her Instagram account which swiftly made rounds online.
“STOLEN: A Herschel Backpack full of our important documents were stolen out of an Alley in the west end today. In it was my iPad pro (full of videos of me and my mom not on iCloud) and Apple Pencil, my Nintendo Switch (RIP my Island)…”
Though Mara’s bag had expensive stuff, those things were not her greatest concern.
She was more eager to find her teddy bear.
Well, this is not just an ordinary teddy bear for Mara. It’s something really important to her because it reminds her of her mom who passed away last year and is also the one who gifted her this precious thing.
Aside from that, it also contains her mom’s voice-recorded message telling her that she loves her and that she makes her proud.
“PLEASE, I don’t care about the electronics, I just want my bear back (and maybe my citizenship card cause I can’t do anything without it) . If you spot it anywhere, please give me a DM. Thank you,” Mara wrote on her post.
In one of her Instagram posts, Mara also talked about when her mom recorded this sweet message. She also explained why her bear is very precious to her.
“The Christmas before Cancer reared its ugly head again, my mom went to build a bear and recorded this cheesy message. Before she died, her voice changed, it was softer and still my mom, but not the mom I grew up with… So this recording is EVERYTHING to me”
Her story touched many people- including famous actor Ryan Reynolds.
This guy who has been making generous donations during the COVID-19 outbreak also stepped-up to help Mara find her teddy bear that’s so very dear to her heart.
Reynolds did not just share the story on his Twitter account but he also offered lavish rewards to whoever would return or find the bear.
He was willing to give $5,000 to that person!

The viral tweet of the Dead Pool star was a huge help in finding the bear.
After two days, Reynolds tweeted another announcement regarding Mara’s bear.
This time, it was good news.

Ryan Reynold’s generous act really helped a lot in finding the bear. What he showed is real compassion. No wonder why he has so many followers and supporters.
He has proven that he is a superhero not only on the big screen but in real life too.
