Here’s a great recipe worth trying at home.
With just simple ingredients, you’ll get a delicious and flavorful meal for dinner.
It starts with ground beef.
First, get the goods.
For the Meatballs
- Minced Meat – 300 grams
- Chopped onion – 150 grams (approximately one onion)
- Breadcrumbs – 70 grams
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Ground Pepper
- Paprika
- Vegetable Oil – 50 ml
- Water – 70 ml
- Butter
- Cheese
- Cherry Tomato
For the Egg Mixture and Salad:
- 2 eggs
- Milk – 100 ml
- Pinch of salt
- Spring Onions, chopped
- Cabbage Leaves
- Salt – 1/3 teaspoon
- Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
- Olive oil – 2 teaspoons
- Lemon Juice
- Soy Sauce – 1 teaspoon
Now, to make:
Place the meat, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika into a bowl and mix it by hand.
Knead through the mixture until all of the ingredients are incorporated and mixed well.
Add oil and water to the mixture and use a spatula to mix it properly.
When the mixture is of the right texture and consistency, divide it into about 5 equal parts.
Roll each part into a ball and set it aside.
Prepare the same number of small oven-safe bowls as the meatballs.
Bring on the butter.
Add a good amount of butter to grease inside the bowl.
Take each meatball and place them into each of the bowls.
Press the meatball gently to contour the side of the bowl and mimic its shape.
Make sure to leave space in the middle as another set of ingredients will be added later.
Now we’ll prepare the egg mixture.
Prepare a big bowl and add two eggs, milk, and spring onions, and start whisking.
Make sure to whisk properly to incorporate all of the ingredients.
Back to the bowl with the meat, place some grated cheese and chopped cherry tomatoes inside.
Pour in egg mix until almost full.
Place the bowls into a baking pan, then bake them for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Remove from the oven and set aside while we prepare the salad.
Let’s make the salad.
The salad will be used as a side for this recipe.
Cut the cabbage leaves into small pieces by hand (or use scissors) and place them on a large plate.
Add chopped tomatoes and cucumber cut into considerably small pieces.
In a separate small bowl, pour in one-third teaspoon of salt, a pinch of ground black pepper, and olive oil.
Add a few drops of Lemon Juice for the acid taste and soy sauce.
Mix with a spoon until all are combined well.
Then pour the mixture into the salad as a dressing and mix well.
This is already mouthwatering.
Set the salad mixture to the side surrounding the edge of the plate, then remove the baked meat from its bowl and place it in the middle.
Cut the meat to reveal the rich texture of eggs, tomatoes, and melted cheese.
