Dancing is more than just performing arts and it is not only for the professionals. It is simply for everyone! And why not?

After all, dance is composed of sequences of body movements and routines, so it’s pretty hard not to enjoy. More than arts, dance is undeniably a fun activity.

Whether your a dancer or not, there’s something inside us that makes us want to move whenever we hear an inviting beat or a piece of bouncy dance music.

Admit it, whenever we hear one, we always end up bobbing our heads, stomping our feet, or even swaying our bodies along with it.

Dancing also gives tons of benefits. It can also be considered a form of exercise, since it requires the entire body to move. And come to think of it, we can dance anywhere at any time, wouldn’t you agree?

While we equally have the non-dancers and aspirants, we also have those who are exceptionally good dancers. Just like these two swing masters!

Two years ago, at a dance event called Swingtacular by Dance Geek Productions, two incredibly good dancers present that day, set fire on the dance floor.

The event is where dancers are given the chance to grow not only their talents but also their personalities. There, they meet other dancers from other places, receive constructive criticism and pointers from expert dancers, and share their creativity and dancing expertise with the group and those watching.

Dance Geek Productions wants to give both current and aspiring competitors equal opportunities to hone their dance skills.

However, it’s not the ordinary class that we know where we can simply learn and then go home after.

There, dancers are given the chance to sharpen their dance skills. They go through training ins a competition format called The Jack and Jill for them to achieve overall improvement.

As their website says, their mission is,

“…to create the very best, most unique West Coast Swing events and experiences.”

Two remarkable dancers!

A video surfaced the internet showing two dancers who joined the event.

Nick King and Victoria Henk were just among the many other talented competitors that day.

And just like the rest of them, they’re determined to show what they’re capable of.

The host called their names out off his cue card, and as soon as they heard their names called out, the other competitors immediately showered them with cheers.

It’s either out of mutual respect or it could be that they know what the two dancers can do. Either way, we all know that we’re up for a dance treat.

They were just warming up when the music started playing!

The host was explaining the mechanics of the event and the song selection. Basically, each couple will be dancing to a piece of slow and fast music.

The songs were from different genres and were selected and submitted by the DJ’s of the event. And from the pool of songs, the competitors (including Nick and Victoria) picked their favorites.

“Go ahead and start it while they are still down there. First couple, go!” the host surprisingly said.

Nick was in total shock or he could also be playing, who knows? But as a professional, they know how to rise to any occasion.

Just seconds after, they immediately began with their off-the-cuff, breathtaking performance.

Obviously, nobody and nothing could catch this duo off-guard. From stretching to sexy dancing, real fast! The two quickly flashed their swing dance prowess in an instant.

They mixed it all together with style and attitude, making their performance more captivating.

How they managed to mix elegance and intensity is beyond our comprehension. It only shows how great they are in this field.

The tireless rehearsals, years of experience, love, passion, and dedication, everything has finally paid off.

They were one with the slow music and even though they’re already itching to pump it all out to the fast music, they still didn’t miss a beat – not even once!

The pleasure of performing in front of the crowd, fellow competitors, and judges, were all theirs.
