A lady in the forest

Green and quiet, with some birds chirping in the background, the music took place in what it seems like a forest.

At first, only one lady was beautifully singing the intro while being accompanied by equally beautiful vocals in the background.

It’s a music video like no other as they managed to fuse the hymn with the ambiance of green nature.

Donning a clean, white dress, she belted out the first few lines of the song. After a few more seconds, the rest of the ladies finally appeared while being kissed by the rays of the setting sun.

They were all in white dresses and it almost looked like they were angels from the heavens.

Soon, they gathered together, dipped themselves into the flowing river, and sung straight from the heart. The melody, rhythm, harmony, timing, and blend are all on point! It doesn’t get any better than this, I think I can watch this video all day.

They lined up and crooned their respective parts. It was so unbelievably good that it almost felt like their voices gave me a hug, it’s spine-chilling!

A light in the dark

That’s what literally happened as the girls reached the final parts of the song. When the set turned into a cloud of darkness, they brought us light, just like what the lyrics of the song imply:

First stanza:

“Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost
But now I’m found
Was blind, but now I see”

Fourth stanza:

“When we’ve been there
Ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We’ll have no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun”

Apart from their amazing vocals, the cinematography also nailed it!

From the venue, the time the music video was taken, costumes, props, etc. Everything was well planned and flawlessly executed. We can only imagine the tremendous amount of work put into it just to make the video world-class!
