She is Veronika Zhilina, a figure skating prodigy.
This video of her performance was taken back in 2019 when she was just 10-years-old. That day, she acted out a very emotional performance to Alexandra Burke’s version of ‘Hallelujah .’
She’s another great talent of Russia, a country which is well known to have brought tons of champion-level athletes in every kind of sporting event.

She starts with the basic movements by gliding backward, it’s like she is still trying to feel the heartfelt music. And as the music progresses, she also brings the pace up, and then she stretches one leg up all the while keeping the speed and her balance.

When you talk about figure skating, one of the most stunning moves in a routine is the ‘Axel jump’, and to no one’s surprise, Veronika does it!
This type of jump in figure skating is
“an edge jump in the sport of figure skating. It is figure skating’s oldest and most difficult jump.”
In competitions, an Axel jump also has its own point-system.
“The base value of a single Axel is 1.10; the base value of a double Axel is 3.30; the base value of a triple Axel is 8.00; and the base value of a quadruple Axel is 12.50.”
This young girl is incredible.
At such a young age, Veronika was able to master the basics and even the complexities of the sport. She had the rest of the world applauding her beautiful performance.
In fact, the video of her routine was uploaded just last year but it has already amassed over 3.8 million views on YouTube alone.
