1. Teriyaki Chicken Folded Tortilla Hack

This recipe is a must-try if you want some savory chicken goodness in your tortillas. It’s a perfect mixture of fresh pineapples and savory teriyaki chicken. Wow!

What to put in the tortilla folds:

  • Teriyaki Sauce
  • Shredded chicken
  • Shredded cheese
  • Diced fresh pineapple

What you need to do:

  • Preparing shredded chicken may be a bit easier if you use Instant Pot. Otherwise, the usual boiling and manual shredding should be okay.
  • You may want to buy teriyaki sauce or make your own. All you need to do is to mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger, half a teaspoon garlic powder and a tablespoon of cornstarch in a small saucepan. Turn the heat on and let the mixture thicken. You can turn off the fire and set aside the thickened sauce for later.
  • Any form of cheese will work but Karli recommend her favorite: Swiss cheese.
