Aside from the worldwide chaos that the pandemic has brought to millions of people, the world that we live in today is facing tons of other problems.

Though this may have started a long time ago, this man-made disease still continues and has brought nothing but havoc and division among people.
The ultimate question now is, how can we make this world a better place?

The beautiful incident took place at a restaurant in Oxford, Alabama when Eleanor Baker decided to dine at Brad’s Bar-B-Que.
She innocently entered the restaurant as usual, but little did she know something beautiful was about to unfold.
The CCTV footage shows her going in the establishment, and just seconds after, three other men follow her into the diner.

Baker lives with nobody but her dog.
The 80-year-old woman is a widow.
Since her husband’s passing, she’s got nothing left but her pooch companion named Rufus. Although Baker has a huge family, most of them live out of town, thus making her used to dining alone.
Baker said that dining at Brad’s Bar-B-Que that evening was her destiny!
“It was a God thing. I think God sent me there [as an example that] people care about other people and how important it is.”
As she was sitting alone, out of nowhere, she was approached by one of the three guys who had entered the restaurant right after her.
The kind gentleman observed that Baker had no company to dine with- so he offered theirs.
“He just came up and he said ‘I saw you sitting over here alone’ and he said ‘do you mind having some company?’” Baker narrates.
The man’s name is Jamario Howard and according to him, he hates seeing people eat alone.
When he saw Baker by herself, he knew that he had to do something to make the evening better for everyone.
Sometimes, you’ll find humanity when you least expect it.
Soon, they all found themselves happily dining at one table.
More than just the sumptuous food, they also got to enjoy each other’s company. And on their way home, one of the gentlemen even admitted that they can’t help but think about that beautiful moment back in the restaurant.
“When you make that kind of connection with somebody, it’s hard to let it go,” said JaMychol Baker.
Sympathy alone doesn’t solve issues and everyone needs to step up.
Though it all started from a simple, kind gesture from the three gentlemen, in the end, it turned out as a life-changer for all of them.
It was beyond purely altruistic- the guys had as much fun as Baker had that evening.
“It was just a really nice, pleasant evening,” said Baker.
They didn’t know who the old woman was, yes, but the natural beauty of their hearts paved the way to them meeting each other and become more than just strangers.
Howard even felt that they were kindred spirits- like they were Baker’s “grandchildren” so-to-speak.
Jamario believes that he can change the world.
He knows that being kind, nice, and generous to others can definitely make a huge difference in the world that we are living in today. After all, being a kind person doesn’t hurt- all you need is to try being one.
He said:
“I’m not rich. I’m not famous. And I’m not very smart either, so I can’t be president. But we can show the world it’s alright to be kind and then, before long, maybe the world will be a much better place.”
