Who doesn’t love a good, easy to make snack? Especially when they’re warm, cheesy, gooey and ooey and filled with deliciousness.
Today you will learn how to make whole wheat pizza sticks right in your own kitchen. It’s quick, simple, and much healthier than buying pizza sticks from the store. This is a perfect recipe to share with your friends and family!
There’s only 6 ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 tube whole wheat pizza crust
- Pepperoni (optional)
- 8 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat the oven to 450F. Lay out a tube of pizza crust onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Cut the pizza crust into 8 equal pieces. Place about 3 slices of pepperoni onto each piece. Then place one mozzarella cheese stick on top. Roll up the pizza crust and pinch it closed.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, garlic, and parsley. Smother this mixture on top of the pizza sticks. Place the pizza sticks in the oven and bake for 10~12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve this dish by itself, or with a side of your favorite dipping sauce!
