They are crispy, and savory and will make you crave more.

But have you ever tried making your own potato chips? A version that is healthier, crispier, and more flavorful?

You might think that it’s easier to just open a bag of store-bought chips, but making your own chips gives you a unique sense of fulfillment.

Not to mention the satisfaction of making that perfectly crisp snack that you love.

Just two weeks ago, the YouTube Channel 쿠킹하루 Cooking Haru :) posted an easy-to-follow recipe for super crispy, not fried, garlic potato chips.

With a side of garlic cheese sauce, of course.

It’s a simple recipe.

This can take time, so be patient.

You’ll know it’s ready if it’s as smooth as butter. Then, it’s time to season.

  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

For this recipe, the host divided the mashed potatoes in two.

The crispy test

  • Take them out once done, test for crispiness, but control yourself. We still need to create the dip.
  • In a bowl, mix in your butter, garlic, and warm milk.
  • Once done, add cheese and microwave 40 seconds. Mix well.
