Cha-cha or cha-cha-cha is a dance style that incorporates fun and flirty movements. It became extremely popular in the United States back in the 1950s.
“Cha Cha originated in Cuba and evolved from a slow version of Mambo called “Triple Mambo” or Mambo with guiro rhythm. This musical rhythm inspired dancers to dance a hip syncopation to the forward and back breaks of a mambo which late evolved to a triple step.”

It takes genuine passion and love for the art to learn and to master cha-cha.
Thankfully, there are a lot of dance classes and even private dance instructors who are still present up to this generation, preserving the dance and making it alive. You can still see people dancing the cha-cha in ballroom halls or at social gatherings.
It definitely takes a lot of discipline to learn the dance, in this video, a pair of toddlers will prove to us all that it’s never too early to bounce to a dance style that is decades older than them.
Meet Daniela Avanzini and Yasha Jeltuhin.

In this YouTube video of their spectacular performance, Daniela was just 4 years old, and Yasha was 5, but they’re already jiving along with dancers that are twice their size. They were present to wow the crowd during the Atlanta Open Dance Spectacular back in 2009.

While most kids of their age are still picking up the basics of life and, more often than not their noses, these toddlers are already slaying it on the dance floor, making it their new playground. With their tiny size, they went huge because their video went viral amassing over 10 million views since it was uploaded.

This cute little couple 1-2-3 stepped to a late 90s song, Smooth, a classing cha-cha song made under the collaboration between Latin rock band Santana and Matchbox Twenty vocalist Rob Thomas.

Watch those little feet, hips, and hands!
They may not be the sassiest couple out there, but they’re definitely the most adorable pair, aren’t they? Their cute little movements are still on-point with the basics of cha-cha, the crowd obviously loves it, and we love it too!

Daniela and Yasha are not intimidated by the grown-ups dancing around them, they are minding their little business, and that is to dance as what their teacher taught them. Actually, their choreographer was Ana Llorente, a World Mambo Champion, an Argentine Tango World finalist, USA, World, and Canadian American Rhythm Champion.

By the way, she is Daniela’s mom, now we know where she got those slick moves!
More blessings came in their way after the viral video.
They joined Season 8 of America’s Got Talent as a samba dancer duo. On their audition, they did a mix of samba and jive routine to Pitbull’s ‘Shake Senora’, and the crowd went bananas as they lively danced to it with so much energy and passion.

They got a resounding “YES” from all the judges which propelled them to the Vegas Round, where they, unfortunately, got eliminated as well.
Daniela is now 16 years old and Yasha is 17, they have both pursued their careers separately. We are sure though that a lot of people want to see them again as partners on the dance floor, just like the not-so-old times.
