Life is busy enough without having to stress over dinner. However, that doesn’t mean you have to go running for the nearest drive-thru to satisfy your family’s appetite! Instead of spending hours in the kitchen after a long day – all you need are three ingredients, a slow cooker, and four-six hours to fill doing something else (which shouldn’t be too hard).
If you’re a fan of pork, this simple recipe will surely leave your mouth watering! A mom of three named Cindy Lott shared the following tutorial on her YouTube channel, and it’s perfect for anyone looking for a homemade yummy dish that requires little work.
3-Ingredient Ranch Pork Chop Slow Cooker Recipe
Here’s what you’re going to need:
- 3-4 Pork Chops
- A packet of Ranch Seasoning Mix
- 1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup (1 Can of Water)
- A Slow Cooker
Keep in mind that you’re going to need four-six hours for the food to cook. Knowing this will help you with planning!
Cindy shows us the steps for prepping this meal in the video below. First, she places four pork chops inside of the slow cooker.
Next, the mom pours an entire can of cream of chicken soup into the cooker, on top of the pork chops.
She then adds in one can of water.
*Cindy is aware this would technically be another ingredient, but like she jokingly says in the video – “three ingredients sounds better!”
Here comes the ranch seasoning! She pours the entire packet of the dry mixture into her slow cooker.
*Optional additions: Cindy spiced hers up with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
After all the ingredients are added, Cindy then mixes them a bit with a large spoon.
Lastly, she covers her slow cooker and sets it on LOW – with plans to let it cook for 6 hours. If you don’t have that much time, you can place it on HIGH for four hours.
Ready for a glimpse of the pork chops after being cooked on LOW for six hours? Cindy removes the lid to share the results.
Not only does the meat and sauce look delicious, but surely Cindy’s house smells just fantastic too!
*Here’s an extra tip. The Pork Checkoff website states that 145-degrees Fahrenheit is the safe internal cooking temperature for pork.
Once Cindy plates the pork chops with a side of rice and corn, you can see how savory a meal it turns out to be. The meat is tender and falling apart, and the sauce is the perfect way to spice up your sides as well.
The only thing left to do is ring the dinner bell! Just be sure everyone else is on cleanup duty for all the time you put into cooking…shh, they don’t have to know!
