Now that we are already in the holiday season, expect more family gatherings to come, and that simply means more feast together with your loved ones.
When you talk about desserts or just a quick snack time, one of the very first things that will come to your mind is probably cheesecake, am I right?
However, it requires a lot of effort and time just to make a full recipe cheesecake, right?
Cheesecake as we all know it.
Cheesecake is a sweet family favorite dessert that consists of one or more layers of delight. The main, which is also the thickest layer has a mixture of soft, fresh cheese, eggs, and sugar.
“If there is a bottom layer, it often consists of a crust or base made from crushed cookies (or digestive biscuits), graham crackers, pastry, or sometimes sponge cake.[1] It may be baked or unbaked (usually refrigerated).”
A cheesecake, however, doesn’t limit one in adding flavors to it. You can sweeten it however you like, you can also add your own ingredients to it, you may add other sweet ingredients and even fruits.
As far as the topping is concerned, you can be as creative as possible. Remember that any dish will become more appetizing if it is presented well, wouldn’t you agree?
Not everyone can make a cheesecake and we will tell you why.
Now, if you are the type of person who seeks a delicious dessert for the family but has a busy schedule and you do not have all the time in the world to make a cheesecake, then this recipe might help you.
A YouTube channel that goes with the name Donna Elick shared a quick clip of a recipe which they call Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad. Based on the tutorial video, it only requires a few ingredients and it doesn’t take much time and effort to do, but it still packs the flavorful taste of an ordinary cheesecake, and even more!
To come up with the perfect Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad, you need to have the following ingredients.
- 8 oz block of cream cheese
- 1 pack of instant cheesecake pudding
- 1 1/4 cups of vanilla coffee creamer
- 2 pounds of strawberries (hulled and sliced)
- 3 medium bananas (cut into coins)
- 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
For the procedure, just follow the steps below.
Step Number One: First, you need to make the cheesecake mixture for this recipe. Grab a mixing bowl and toss the 8-ounce block of cream cheese in and crush until it achieves a creamy-like texture using a hand mixer.
Step Number Two: Add the pack of instant cheesecake pudding and the cream mixture, then mix them well together using a hand mixer. Make sure that the mixture turns into a thick cream. Set aside.
Step Number Three: Cut the bananas and strawberries into thin slices, at least half-centimeter thick. Once you are done, put the sliced fruits all together into another bowl. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice over the sliced bananas and strawberries and then mix well.
Step Number Four: Pour the cheesecake mixture that you have prepared earlier into the fruit mix. Mix them all together thoroughly.
In this Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad recipe, we highly suggest that you pick the freshest of the fresh bananas and strawberries. The fresh lemon juice also adds more flavor to the cheesecake recipe and that’s on top of the nutrients that all these fruits contain.
