Teriyaki chicken is one of my favorite Asian dishes, and it tastes even better in drumstick form. For me, drumsticks are my favorite part of the chicken, so naturally, this recipe has become a household favorite.

Using a slow cooker, you can create teriyaki chicken drumsticks with minimal effort. The chicken comes out so juicy and tender that your family will be begging for more!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 4 lbs drumsticks

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together except the chicken drumsticks.

Place the chicken drumsticks in a large Ziploc bag. Then pour the sauce, being sure to coat each drumstick with it. Then place the Ziploc bag in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Remove chicken from the Ziploc bag, and place it in a slow cooker. Add 1 cup of the marinade in the slow cooker and cook on high heat for 4 hours.
