Life is already hectic enough without having to worry about meals. That doesn’t mean you have to rush through the nearest drive-through to appease your family’s hunger, though.
After a long day at work, instead of spending hours in the kitchen, you just need to prepare three ingredients.
Add a slow cooker, and four to six hours spent doing something else into the mix and you’ve got yourself the perfect recipe.
Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops
If you like pork, you’ll love this quick and easy meal.
Cindy Lott, a mother of three, posted the following tutorial on her YouTube channel. It’s ideal for anyone searching for a quick and delicious home-cooked meal.
Let’s get ready!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 3 to 4 pork chops
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix (dry buttermilk powder)
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 can of water (using the empty chicken soup can)
Bear in mind that the food will need to cook for four to six hours.
Knowing this will assist you in making plans!
In the video below, Cindy walks us through the stages of preparing this dish.
She starts by putting four pork chops inside the slow cooker.
Add soup
The chef-mom then pours a full can of cream of chicken soup over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
She filled the empty can of chicken soup with water and placed it in the cooker.
Cindy is well aware that this is technically an additional ingredient. She kiddingly shared this in her video, “three ingredients sound better!”
The ranch seasoning is next!
She adds and spreads the full dry mixture packet to her slow cooker.
Optional ingredients:
Cindy added garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cindy mixes all the ingredients using a large spoon after adding them together.
Set it and forget it
Finally, she covers the slow cooker and turns it on LOW, intending to simmer it for 6 hours.
If you don’t have that much free time, set it for four hours on HIGH.
Are you ready to see the pork chops after they’ve been cooked on low for six hours?
Lift the lid for a delicious meal.
Not only does the meat and sauce appear to be delectable, but Cindy’s home must also smell appetizing!
Here’s an extra tip!
According to the Pork Checkoff website, the safe internal cooking temperature for pork is 145 degrees Fahrenheit (62 degrees Celsius).
You can see just how aromatic the dish of pork chops with rice and corn turns out to be once Cindy plates them.
The meat is supple and crumbles easily, and the sauce is a great way to spice up your sides.
All that’s left is to announce to everyone that dinner is served!
Recently, a new viewer who made the dish commented:
“I’m here a few years later, tried this recipe recently and I’m in love I would not stop recommending this to my friends. This is amazing”
Cindy is an active commenter on her Youtube Channel. “Could I add a gravy mix packet to this?” said one viewer.
Cindy encouraged the viewer and asked if he could do it and share his thoughts. As the viewer pointed out, it turned out fantastic!
