Time is usually what stops many of us from cooking more. We all lead busy lives, and it’s often hard to set aside time to go grocery shopping and time to cook. Fortunately, there are recipes out there that require very little prep time. This slow cooker chicken dinner recipe is one of them.
In all my time writing for Shareably, I’ve yet to come across a recipe as simple as this one. There’s just one step to it – placing all the ingredients in a slow cooker. Once you’ve done that, you can just sit back, relax, and let the slow cooker work its magic. The result is tender and juicy chicken that will make your mouth water!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of chicken breast fillets
- 1.2 pounds of small red quartered potatoes
- 1/2 pound of trimmed and peeled carrots
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/3 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- black pepper
Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker. Then, let it cook on high heat for 4 hours. It’s that simple!
