When I first heard of this recipe, I was skeptical that it would taste good. But I am happy to report that the savory flavor of pork loins and onions is perfectly countered by the sweet texture of apple cinnamon. Each slice is infused with so many different flavors and spices that somehow blend to create a mouthwatering sensation in your mouth.

Since it’s so easy to make, it’s the perfect feast for a weekday when you need a little boost in your meals. All you need is a slow cooker to work its magic.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 lb. pork loin
  • 1 apple
  • 1 onion
  • honey
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS:

Place pork loin into slow cooker and make cuts vertically approximately 1 inch from each other. Next, cut your apple into slices and squeeze them into the cuts. (See below for guide)

After the slices are safely tucked in, layer with onions and season with honey, cinnamon, and salt. Cook on low for 3 hours. Serve immediately!
