These are the ingredients:

  • 7 grams of dry yeast (~1 1/2 teaspoon)
  • 200 – 220 ml of water (4/5 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • vegetable oil

Here are the steps to follow:

First, get a mixing bowl — preferably with a lid, and make sure it’s large enough to contain any excess mess from the mixing.

Pour in 400 grams of flour, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 7 grams of dry yeast. Mix well until each ingredient appears to be evenly combined.

Add some water, but not too much. Simply add a little at a time.

Massage to combine — it should have a thick and moist texture at the very least.

While mixing, add 1 teaspoon of salt. Massage it thoroughly until the dough is perfectly textured.

Remove it from the mixing bowl and knead it on a clean surface, preferably a large board or a stainless tray.

Before returning the dough to the mixing bowl, make sure it’s rounded in shape. Pour in some vegetable oil and massage it all over your dough.

Place it in the oven. Allow it to rise for 1 ½ hour

Make certain that the container is securely enclosed with a lid. Remove it from the oven once it’s done. Remove all the dough from the container and massage it once more on a clean surface.

Grease a baking dish, place the dough in it, and set it aside for another 30 minutes to rise.

Once the time is up, grease another pan, place the dough in it, and gently press it down until it is evenly set. Cook it with the lid on over low heat.

After that, grease a plate and flip the bread upside down.

As an alternative, you could use parchment paper. Return it to the pan and cook the other side over low heat with the lid still on.

It’s now time to enjoy your freshly baked bread.
