While he admits that the idea might sound weird, according to him, it works perfectly. Aside from being a one-pot dish, the combination works well together.

Come to think of it, the ingredients have a lot in common.

Let’s start:

Heat your pan and add your ground beef. Break it apart and toss in your garlic and onion. Add a pinch of salt and cook until brown.

Drain the excess oil and then add your diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and beef broth. Mix and add your spaghetti.

Submerge your spaghetti in the broth or water. Add water or broth if needed.

Bring it to a boil and cover your pan.

Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 12 – 15 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes to avoid the spaghetti from sticking together.

Remove the lid of the pan and let it cook for another 2 – 3 minutes or until the liquid has reduced.

Looking good.

Turn off the heat and stir until well mixed.

Put your cheese on top.

You can add more cheese, depending on your preference.

Cover your pan and let the heat from the pasta melt the cheese.
