Ocean Spray is jumping into the Tik Tok advertising game with a bit of thoughtfulness.
Just a month ago, Tik Tok user @420doggface208 went viral after sharing a video drinking the popular Ocean Spray “Cran-Raspberry” juice while skating and listening to the song, “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.
Now, Ocean Spray wants Nathan Apodaca, who made the video, to enjoy more of their juice- in the comfort of his brand new truck!
While they loved his video just as much as the millions of other people who have now seen it, that’s not what prompted them to buy the man a new rig. Well, not entirely, anyway.
Rather, it was an interview he gave in which he divulged a little bit of his background story that pulled at their heartstrings.
The company sent Apocada a new vehicle after he told TMZ that he filmed the video after his car broke down on the way to work one morning. Instead of just sitting there and waiting for help, Nathan had the inspiration to record a video.
“My car, it just shuts off sometimes,” he reported to TMZ. “The battery, I don’t know what it is, just shuts off. I always have my longboard in there, in case I run out of gas or something.”
The TikTok’er mentioned that he used an alternative mode of transportation to get to work and decided he would try to figure out his car after he finished his shift.
That’s when he spotted the location in the video and decided it would be the perfect location to film his next clip.
Ocean Spray decided to make a move and showed up in Idaho Falls on Tuesday.
They surprised Nathan with a new car. The brand representative introduced himself to Nathan and then said,
“This is from Ocean Spray to you. Thanks for keeping it positive. That truck is yours. All the Ocean Spray is yours.”
The video keeps rolling as Apodaca says “No way” and “That’s crazy” in disbelief.

Apodaca has kept the “Cran-Raspberry” videos coming
Later that evening, Apodaca posted another TikTok video driving himself around in the new truck while blasting “Dreams.”
He captioned the video with “Thanks for the new wheels ocean spray! 🙏,” further shouting out to the company that blessed his life. But there is more to the story.
Not long after the gift, Ocean Spray’s CEO, Tom Hayes, decided he wanted in on the TikTok action.

The businessman recreated Apodaca’s original TikTok video with the caption “Did we just become best friends?”
Hayes hasn’t been the first person to recreate the iconic TikTok.
Just this past week, Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac hopped on the popular social media platform and created his own video with the band’s 1977 hit blasting in the background.
His caption read “Dreams and Cranberry just hit different.”
Mick’s video has since garnered nearly 2 million views.
It’s incredible to see a company like Ocean Spray give back to the people. They could have just used Nathan as free advertising. Instead, they thanked him for his support in the most unexpected of ways!
