Not everyone is made for the kitchen.

While some are marvelous at whipping some delicious things up, some are not as talented in the field.

Thankfully, the internet continuously gifts us with quick cooking and baking hacks that can make our lives a million times easier.

The star of the show for this article is an insanely blissful chocolate cake using only three main ingredients: oatmeal, banana, and cocoa!

The whole process is so simple

Yet the result is absolutely stunning!

To begin, 120 grams (or 1 1/4 cups) of thick rolled oats were placed in a bowl. Make sure to use rolled oats instead of instant oats to achieve the best consistency.

Next, 250 ml (or 1 cup) of hot milk was poured all over the rolled oats and both ingredients were mixed together. The mixture was left to soak for 15 minutes.

While waiting, the baker prepared and peeled 2 ripe bananas and threw them in a separate bowl.

The bananas were mashed using a fork.

Once mashed completely, 2 eggs were placed into the bowl and were deliberately mixed with the bananas.

Then, 40g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, a pinch of salt, and 2 tablespoons of sugar (or any other sweetener) were added to the mix.

After mixing the ingredients thoroughly, the rolled oats and milk mixture were poured into the bowl and the baker continued mixing.

Look at this chocolatey goodness!

Next, the video panned into a casserole being greased with butter all over.

The mixture was poured into it.

The casserole was then placed in the oven at 190 degrees Celsius for about 45-50 minutes.

While the baking is ongoing, the baker took out 50g of dark chocolate 85%, sliced it into thin pieces, and placed it in a small bowl.

3 tablespoons of milk/cream were then poured over the dark chocolate and the bowl was placed in the microwave to heat.

Gooey frosting, anyone?

Now when the oven hit the 45-50-minute mark, the cake was taken out and the dark chocolate topping was spread all over the top of the cake.

Make it a point to spread evenly for a better eating experience.

And voila!

You now have a delicious cake to serve yourself and your family.
