Furniture happens to be particularly easy to upcycle as well. There are ways to turn old dressers into entirely new pieces of furniture. You can also turn dresser drawers into something unique as well.

Just take it from Maggie McGaugh, a stay-at-home mom who decided to take on a dresser DIY to cure her boredom.

When she realized she had a knack for creating gorgeous DIY upcycling projects on the cheap, she decided to create an Instagram account and share her projects. Before she knew it, she had amassed over 129,000 followers!

So, what can you do about leftover dress drawers?

There are countless ways you can upcycle dresser drawers. Whether you want to create an entirely new piece of furniture, an art project, or something functional, dresser drawers have everything you need, even if they are pretty old.

1) Create A Standing Bookcase

2) A Mudroom Organizer

A mudroom is a room that generally separates the outside of your home from the inside. So your boots and coats go here and leftover dresser drawers can help. as is shown here.

3) Mirror Frame

Stick a mirror inside a dresser drawer and then hang it at eye level and you’ve got yourself a DIY mirror frame.

4) Corkboard

Similar to a mirror frame, just stick a corkboard inside the drawer and then hang the drawer up on the wall and you have a bulletin board on your wall!

5) Pet Bed

Many of our pets seem to fit snugly inside our dresser drawers. Simply remove your dresser drawer and put some comfy blankets or pillows down and you’ve got yourself a new pet bed.
