Such a great meal
This beef potato stew is so yummy. Even the pickiest eaters in your house will beg for seconds. In summary, this involves coating cubed chuck roast in a mixture of flour, salt, and pepper, followed by browning the meat in extra virgin olive oil. After putting that in the crockpot, you’ll toss in three large potatoes.
To the beef and potatoes, you’ll then add the fire-roasted tomatoes, oregano, paprika, garlic, and beef broth. Once that’s all stirred together, the bay leaves go in. You determine how quickly you want the dish finished, which dictates the crockpot temperature.
If wanted, you can serve this with some fresh bread and a salad or just eat it by itself. Either way, this recipe will be a big hit. Not only does this beef and potato stew taste amazing but you can start cooking it before you go to work and then come home to a prepared supper. How great is that?
