Just grab the following ingredients:
- ~7 cups (500g) broccoli
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 5 eggs
- ~7 ⅛ ounces (200 ml) of cooking cream
- 1 Cup (100 g) Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt
- pepper
- basil
Are you ready to try this recipe? Then let’s hop into the kitchen. Let’s go.
First time? Worry not because this is as easy as A-B-C.
Step 1: Remove the broccoli’s florets including the stalk then put them inside a bowl with a water-vinegar mixture and leave parts soaked for 10 minutes.
Step 2: After 10 minutes, drain the water and grate them all. Set aside for later.
Step 3: Slice and dice the carrot, onion, red pepper, and 1 garlic clove.
Step 4: Grease your frying pan with either butter or oil and sauté the garlic, onion, and carrots under low fire for 2 minutes. Add the red pepper and let them cook (uncovered) for another 10 minutes.
Step 5: Add the sautéd ingredients to the grated broccoli. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and mix well. Set aside for later.
Step 6: In a different mixing bowl, put five medium-sized eggs, cooking cream, salt, pepper, basil, and 3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, then mix thoroughly using a whisk.
Step 7: Add the wet ingredients to the broccoli and mix well. Then place the entire mixture onto a baking pan (34 x 24 cm) with parchment paper or greased with butter.
Step 8: Spread evenly then sprinkle some parmesan cheese and basil on top. After that, bake it in a preheated oven under 200°C (392°F) for 35 to 40 minutes.
