Man deals with kid who keeps playing in his driveway
We think it's safe to say that this kid deserved it. 🥰

Kids are always playful, even those who are just kids at heart. They can always find ways to have fun even with the simplest things in life. We can’t take that away from them because it’s in their nature.

Though that is the case, when things get out of control, it’s our sole responsibility to deal with them. But the most important part is “how” we choose to deal with it.

With the help of his CCTV cameras, this man noticed that a certain kid had become a regular visitor in his driveway.

Together with his parents, the kid would regularly pedal through his driveway. He does it almost everyday.

Instead of riding straight on the sidewalk, the young boy would make a turn into his driveway and do a loop before continuing to stroll around with mom and dad.

“Almost every night I got a motion alert from my driveway security camera,” the man shared in a video. “It is always this same kid just tearing it up on the flat concrete.”

After this discovery, the man knew that something had to be done.

So instead of letting the boy do loops in his pale-looking driveway, he turned it into something that the kid would surely enjoy.

Surprisingly, the results were better than he expected.

Using chalk, the guy drew a curvy race track that the kid could playfully drive-through.

To his surprise, his CCTV revealed that his self-drawn race track was a hit not only for the kids but for every passer-by.

People of all ages would go for a quick ride in his driveway.

Everyone seems to be invited by his drawing, whether they’re on a bicycle or just simply walking, they all gave his simple race track a go.

In fact, whenever the rain washes away his drawing, he would go outside and draw it again.

He simply wants the race track to be there, he doesn’t want to disappoint the kids who are most likely expecting that the drawing will not go away even if it rains.

The man has a big heart, it’s not his responsibility to please anyone, but he chose to make the people, especially the kids’ outings extra special by his simple gesture.

Happy kids make happy hearts and who doesn’t want to see kids having fun, right?

He even gave an explanation about the courses on the race track.

With a very enthusiastic and comic voice, he said:

“I was able to get a nice little course, also taking some of Keith’s advice, I used up more of the driveway we have. ‘The back straight,’ assuming that the three-year-old can read. “And ‘slow!’ And then we turn, and then, ‘Eyes up!’ because you know he’s not looking. Another little rumble and then, ‘For the win!’ Winner, winner, chicken dinner!”

It’s an “A” for effort!

Not everyone would spend time doing something that would benefit other people. But in this man’s case, he didn’t just draw a race track but also made it pretty interesting by adding some details to it.

It’s funny because he was not even sure who he was really doing it for:

“I don’t know who’s having more fun with this — him or me.”

We think that he’s as happy as the kid:

“He looks to be having the most fun. I continued to improve my construction methods. Everyone loved it.”

He decided to upload the video about this beautiful experience and the results were well beyond what he was expecting.

Actually, the video was just uploaded on his YouTube channel last month but it has already racked up over 12.8 million views with hundreds of thousands of likes!

It surely made a lot of people’s days and we hope that the beauty of the video gets passed on to other people. We need more simple yet inspiring videos from kind people, just like this man.

Let us spread positivity and make the year 2020 a little lighter inside our hearts.
