You will never know what’s in store for you in your tracks, may you be on your way to your office, going to a department store or grocery store, or maybe on your way to the airport to catch your flight on time.
Lucky were the people at the Brussels South Charleroi Airport back in August of 2019.
When everyone seemed to be busy minding their own businesses and waiting for their flight number to be called, a mystery guy offered them an impromptu performance that they’d never forget.
His name is Danilo Cristaldi.
He is a pianist and though he is a simple-looking guy, he instantly transforms into a monstrous musician as soon as he lays his fingers on the keyboard. And that day, the passengers and even passers-by were given a musical treat by this amazing musician.
Get ready for a boogie-woogie ride.
He starts hammering on the piano with his fast fingers, doing the intro just as beautifully as the rest of the music piece.
With just the first few notes of his performance, some folks around him already give him that curious look like they’re saying, “Who is that guy?”
At that point, you would know the mystery pianist is just getting started with his masterpiece.
With just a few seconds into his piano-playing, a lady in a red coat decides to give him a closer look and watches near him as Danilo’s fingers punch the keys on the public piano.
Ready to unleash the “Kraken?”
Though he doesn’t have tentacles, Cristaldi manages to live up to the demands of the fast-paced tune of a boogie-woogie piece.
While his fingers are bouncing along with the lively music, it almost looks like his fingers have minds of their own.
As he continues with his public musical performance, Cristaldi is just getting better- this guy is a beast! With or without an audience, this guy is unstoppable, it simply shows his love and passion for the arts.
Pretty soon, people begin to notice him.
I mean, seriously, who wouldn’t? It’s not every day that you get to see a public performance this good, it’s like you’re watching a free-admission musical concert.
Boogie-woogie is a type of music that’s known to have a fast tempo, and a modern piano has a total of 88 keys which are divided into seven octaves. With all this being said, there’s Cristaldi, flawlessly bringing the heat of his fingertips like it’s nothing.
I don’t know about you but his music is inviting.
Whether you are musically inclined or not, this one will make you bop your head unconsciously. I mean, who could possibly resist the energetic rhythm that he makes with every succession of touches on those keys?
If his performance didn’t make you groove even a bit, then I don’t know what would.
He then gathers eyes and ears from the unsuspecting onlookers.
People come and go as he plays but there are a few who stayed throughout his performance, and we bet even those from afar who can hear his music are applauding Cristaldi from a distance.
Whatever it is that you are doing will be put on hold once this man starts gracing the keys on the piano.
