It is amazing how a song can deeply affect someone through the mind, heart, and soul. It is maybe because of the song’s title or lyrics, the melody, and other factors. But oftentimes, the reason is somehow unexplainable, there is just really something in a particular song that it hits so hard you can’t help but be moved by it.

Also, it is probably one of the most covered songs. When we talk about covers, it includes amateurs and even those who are already professionals. They do it not just because the song alone is good but also because it speaks so much about life’s pain, joy, and peace.
It’s hard not to be mesmerized by the lyrics and melody of this song. It transcends to the mind and through your heart, there’s something really magical about the song which makes people wonder why.

It’s like when Jeff Buckley made his own rendition of Hallelujah, among the countless who covered the song, we can say Buckley’s is arguably the most renowned.
Though his attack was a bit different from the original because, where Cohen has blues and grunge, Buckley has passion and grief.

Her name is Veronica and she’s just a first grader.
A video of her singing Hallelujah became viral just May of last year. It shows little Veronica belting out the heartfelt lyrics of the song.
The setting is inside a chapel, the little charmer stands tall in front of the camera, and you can see the innocence from her actions. It’s pretty obvious that she’s just an ordinary 7-year-old kid but with extra-ordinary vocal power.
She will prove to us all that an outstanding performance doesn’t need to be fancy.
Look at Veronica right there, she just a kid wearing a typical young lady outfit, there are absolutely no extravagant add-ons in her performance aside from the holiness of the place.
As the guitar man plucks the intro, she takes a few breathes to prepare for her piece. Then within seconds, Veronica comes in singing beautifully with so much emotion, so much that her voice echoes and surrounds the entire chapel.
It’s so good to the ears!

As she reaches the midpoint of the song, she roars out the iconic word that the song is named for- “Hallelujah.”
Everything is just so perfect, from Veronica’s vocals, the song and its lyrics, the place, I mean, what could possibly go wrong with this song cover?
She can easily switch from the lows and the highs of the song, perfecting each run, and hitting all the head tones. We’re out of words, it’s simply immaculate.
At the end of the video, she even said, “Does this thing only record music?” We are glad that it doesn’t because we want to know who’s the beautiful girl singing behind that amazing voice.
