A ballerina is a picture of beauty and grace.

Anything becomes extra special when it’s done by a child, there’s something magical in them that makes everything they do more pleasing to the eyes, even if they just put a little effort into it. May it be a simple dance recital or in a school’s talent show, they can easily push the level of joy up a notch for everyone.

While some 6-year-old kids are still on the learning curve of the basics in life, especially at school, there are some who are already mastering a form of art that is well known around the globe.

We are talking about ballet.

Ballet is an art form, which is also a dance style that is made by a series of body movements. It is being widely performed by both genders and it has also globally influenced and defined the foundational techniques used in many other dance genres.

Ballet has also been taught in many dance schools around the world, which over the years have incorporated their own cultures into it, resulting in the art to evolve in a number of distinct ways.

According to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre:

“It is theatrical – performed on a stage to an audience utilizing costumes, scenic design and lighting. It can tell a story or express a thought, concept or emotion. Ballet dance can be magical, exciting, provoking or disturbing.”

With all the complexities that this art has, a 6-year-old girl will prove to us all that she’s not too young to master it.

Her name is Natasha Furman and she’s an adorable little ballerina.

She was just 6 when this video of her performance was taken. She performed the Cupid Variation at a certain competition and it was nothing short of a “beautiful” performance.

This variation is also known as Cupid from Don Quixote and it is one of the most recognizable variations in ballet dancing, dancers of all ages should know it at the very least because it is one of the first variations that’s taught in variations class.

Natasha’s performance might not be that spectacular and flawless to the eyes of many, but there’s something in her that captured our attention, especially our hearts.

She’s the happiest performer that we’ve ever seen on stage.

To a kid of her age, joining a competition could be nerve-wracking, but this isn’t the case for this little ballerina.

Before she even starts with her routine, she first flashes a sweet smile to everyone, and then she begins to spring off to the fast music. Her cute little movements are so loveable to watch and adding her innocence to her performance is just a bonus.

Isn’t she lovely?

Every tip-toe, endless spins, and tiny jumps that she makes are on-point with the music. She has definitely mastered the art at such a very young age, she can probably beat a lot of grown-ups in this category.

She is like a little angel dancing on stage, wouldn’t you agree?

We’ve also noticed while watching that her smile didn’t fade away throughout her performance, not even the slightest, and that’s something else. It could probably be that Natasha didn’t plan on winning the first place award, she was just enjoying every second of the moment that she was on stage.

Actually, just last year, Natasha (already 10 years old) once again performed Cupid Variation from “Don Quixote” at the World Ballet Competition Finals where she received a silver medal award! And her beautiful smile was still there!
