She is without a doubt, THE American IDOL!
She’s the grand winner of the first season of American Idol that premiered back on June 11th of the year 2002. After that, she released two singles, including the coronation song, “A Moment Like This.”
Aside from becoming a megahit, the song “A Moment Like This” also broke a record held by The Beatles for 38 years for a song’s biggest leap to number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The song jumped from spot number fifty-two up to number one in just a matter of 1 week.
She held that record for five long years but then she reclaimed it with her hit single “My Life Would Suck Without You” when it made a bigger jump, being in number ninety-seven to number one spot!

She’s an American Idol in more ways than one.
During the “Kellyoke” portion of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, she paid tribute to the mighty Veterans.
She made use of her God-given talent in a patriotic way when she performed Ray Charles’s rendition of the American patriotic song “America The Beautiful.”
“The Kelly Clarkson Show is the uplifting daytime destination for humor, heart, and connection featuring Emmy-winning talk show host, Grammy-winning artist and America’s original idol, Kelly Clarkson.”
The show premiered on September 9, 2019, and gained success thereafter. The show bagged three Daytime Emmy Awards at the 47th Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host for Kelly Clarkson herself.
She is still awesome at 38.
She is just the perfect artist to sing on Veterans Day, wouldn’t you agree? Kelly Clarkson gave her show’s “Kellyoke” portion a patriotic touch when she decided to offer the song to all the mighty members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Donning an all-black attire, Clarkson starts smooth and steady as she belts the first few lines of the song. You can clearly see that she is singing soulfully from her heart and there’s no other way to do it, other than the Clarkson way.
Behind her is the stage in stripes of colors red, white, and blue, with countless stars, pretty much resembling the American flag to emphasize the whole purpose and meaning of the song. She’s also backed by a band in piano and guitars.
Level up.
As the song progresses, Clarkson starts to bring the temperature a bit higher. She begins soaring through the high notes of the song, and with every run that she does, she roars a very powerful voice within her.
It’s nothing short of what you would expect from an American Idol grand winner.
There are simply no limits to what her vocals can do. At one point of her performance, she jumps over and beyond cloud-nine as she sings the word “brotherhood” which pretty much sums up life in the military service.
It’s the best time to honor the mighty heroes.
Many brave and heroic soldiers willingly devoted their lives to protect the liberty of the country, it’s just one of the many reasons why the United States of America remains a powerful country- not only because of its massive size and influence but more of its solidarity as a nation.
And let us not forget the veterans who already joined our Almighty, their lives should be celebrated too, as much as those who are still living.
They must be very happy and thrilled to be offered a very beautiful song from a worldwide known artist like Kelly Clarkson.
