When two great musical artists join forces, expect nothing but a spectacular display of talent.
That’s exactly what happened back in 2018 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville when Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton sang a duet to one of country music’s greatest songs- Tennessee Whiskey.
Actually, that was not their first time singing this song together.
During the 2015 Country Music Association Awards (CMA) Timberlake and Stapleton performed the same song which was referred to as “the best moment of the night” by music writers.
Tennessee Whiskey is a country song which was written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove. This song has been covered by several professional artists which include Stapleton.

Allan’s version of the song gained tremendous success as it peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1981. While George Jone’s version of the song in 1983 reached the number 2 spot on the Hot Country singles chart.
Stapleton is no stranger when it comes to country music.

Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer who’s originally from Kentucky. He started his career as a musician in 1999 and has written and co-written over 170 songs.
“His songs have appeared on many artists albums including Adele, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley. He has co-written with several artists as well including Vince Gill, Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow and Ed Sheeran. Stapleton has been recognized with several awards including five Grammy Awards, seven Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, and ten Country Music Association (CMA) Awards.”
The name Justin Timberlake needs no introduction.
He is one of the best-selling musical artists in the entire world. Throughout his career as a solo artist, he has sold over 32 million albums and 56 million singles worldwide.
He has 10 Grammy Awards, 4 Emmy Awards, 3 Brit Awards, 9 Billboard Music Awards, Contemporary Icon Award by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, an honorary Doctor of Music degree from the Berklee College of Music, and the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

According to Billboard, back in 2017, Timberlake was the best performing male solo artist in the history of Mainstream Top 40.
Time magazine has also named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2007 and 2013.
Timberlake and Stapleton can light up any event.
In this video of their performance, they’re set to another duet of the song which made a massive impact in the world of country music. Wielding their individual guitars, they serenade the crowd with both their vocals and guitar-playing skills.
As soon as they strum through the first note of the song, the audience immediately roars at the top of their lungs. The hype is definitely starting to build up, and these two music masters do not plan on disappointing anyone.
