The simple solution to this widespread cooking annoyance will blow your mind, and might even make you cook chicken breasts more. If you’re like me and can’t stand cutting through and getting that nasty tendon in your mouth, this one is about to change the game for you.

@raising_krazies knew this was something she just had to share, and we’re thrilled that she did

The video starts with this proud mommy excited as one could be for a cooking hack before she actually demonstrates how simply you can remove the tendon we all dislike so much.

“Okay so I’m starting to cook dinner and I learned something recently that I thought was so cool that I wanted to share. This is just an organic breast tenderloin but do you see this nasty little chicken tendon that’s in there?” @raising_krazies says at the start of the video.

That’s when she blows everyone’s minds

She goes on to show how easy it is to get out the tendon:

“I don’t know, maybe I’m late to the game but I learned that if you take a fork and you slip the tendon into the middle of the fork(it’s a little slick so I use a paper towel). Grab the tendon and if you just push down, you can pull the whole thing out,” @raising_krazies explains enthusiastically.

Just like that, the entire tendon from her chicken tenderloin slips right out

If you cook chicken a lot, I’m guessing you share the same excitement as @raising_krazies, and I sure know I did. No more chewy tendon slipping into your mouth only to be spat out, this makes me want to cook some chicken right now!

There’s a reason she described this as the “best cooking hack ever” and it’s definitely up there. This hack has got us thinking about other incredible chicken hacks. Now that we can get the tendon out so easily, what about pulling chicken wings right off the bone? Turns out, there’s a hack for that too.

Another great chicken hack we came across, was getting all the meat from your chicken wings right off the bone

We’ve all done it, been eating a chicken wing, and thought “wouldn’t it be nice to be able to just pull all the meat off of this bone?” Well wonder no more, here’s how you do it. YouTube user Food Wishes got sick of nibbling on his chicken wings, so he found a way to strip all the meat right off.

All you have to do is find the skinnier bone, wiggling it out while twisting. Then find the bigger bone, slowly pulling that one out. Once you got them both out, you’ll have a feast of just chicken!

There can never be enough cooking hacks, and these are just two examples of the tricks that are all over the internet to help simplify our kitchen life.
