Don’t blink during this performance or you just might miss something incredible!

This amazing performers’ group is called Zurcaroh and they are based in the town of Götzis, in Vorarlberg, Austria.

Peterson da Cruz Hora, a choreographer from São Paulo, Brazil formed the group back in 2007. And though he started the group in his home country, they have been based in Austria since 2009, with the group having a new set of members.

They may have been based miles away from Hora’s home country, but his heart still beats to the rhythm of where it’s from.

More than just performing and showing their talent and skills, their group is far more than all that.

According to Zurcaroh’s official website,

“ZURCAROH wants to inspire and motivate youngsters through dance, sports and art to make a difference.”

Let’s get to know more about this amazing group.

We are jumping to the year 2018, when the group became world-famous because of their appearance on the 13th season of America’s Got Talent.

When they appeared on the first show of that season, the group consisted of performers of almost all ages. Their performance went incredibly well with a lot of acrobatic stunts and a superb set of exhibitions.

Then host of the show, Tyra Banks, pressed the “Golden Buzzer” for them and it propelled the group straight to the live shows.

Their AGT journey didn’t stop there.

In the quarterfinals, Zurcaroh did a dance piece that’s based on the Biblical story about Adam and Eve. Their performance was a success, thus resulting in them advancing to the semifinals where they prepared an Egyptian-themed routine.

They got through the semis and made it to the grand finals. There, Zurcaroh performed a routine to Baba Yetu, they did a jungle-inspired routine for their grand finals performance. As expected from the group, it was nothing but a spectacular display of heartstopping acrobats.

In fact, when judge Howie Mandel was giving his comment to the group, his voice was outpowered by the loud cheers and applause from the audience. Zurcaroh bagged the second place award next to the magician Shin Lim.

Enough of the throwback, let’s go back to this performance.

This time, we are going 5 years back from their AGT appearance. This video of their performance was during the 2nd World Gym For Life Challenge in Cape Town, South Africa.

The video starts as they march forward to surround the huge mat at the center of the gymnasium.

Right at that moment, you can already feel the aura oozing from each of the members.

They look intimidating with their over-all costumes that were covered in colorful vertical stripes, and they also had green mohawks.

A slow start.

They start with a steady routine, they all drop to sit on the floor, legs crossed. Then they raise their hands and make uniform hand movements in the air.

At this point, everything is still mellow and calm, and the music is just right for the first parts of their act.

The pressure in the air is starting to build up, then one member lifts another member using his bare hands, and just seconds after, the dancers are back on their feet.

Grab onto your seats because pretty soon, you will see people flying.

When the drumroll and deep base of the music starts, it gives us the impression that we’re about to witness the spectacular parts of their routine. And we’re not wrong about it.

A member goes flying halfway to the ceiling of the gymnasium.

The music is playing an important role in their act because whenever the music changes, they go for another part of their acrobatic stunts.

Another member of the group goes for a swing, soaring over 10 feet high.

The little dancer goes for a 360 degrees swing between the legs of another member (the one who’s lifting her). Without any hesitation, she lets the other members toss and swing her from here to there, all the while forming acrobatic formations!

The synchronized dance, the lifts, the tosses, and all the acrobatic stunts are downright heartstopping!

Though their routine is something that we do not advise amateurs to be doing, the group continues to pull off each of the dangerous stunts with so much ease.

It simply shows that Zurcaroh is a set of professional members and they must’ve practiced their routine countless times.
