It garnered 1.1M views because instead of the usual method of cooking the sandwich; they showed us how to prepare it using an air fryer.
An air fryer can do the job pretty well, too, because the hot air that circulates around the food makes it extra crispy.
Here’s what you’ll need for one delicious grilled cheese sandwich:
2 pieces of soft bread
1 tablespoon of butter
Mayonnaise
Cheese of your choice
You’ll also need :
An air fryer
Silicone brush
Tin foil or parchment paper
The first step is to get a plate. Then get two pieces of soft bread and lay them on your plate.
Get your softened butter and using your brush, butter each piece of bread on one side. Take your time and make sure you’ve put enough butter.
Flip the bread to the other side and then spread your mayonnaise.
Make sure to only do this on the top of the bread.
Flip one piece of bread and now you have the one with the butter facing up.
Get your choice of cheese and put it on the bread. For this video, he added three American slices of cheese.
Remember, you can add as much as you want.
Now, put the other slice of bread (butter side down) over the one with the cheese.
Preheat your air fryer and then put parchment paper or foil to prevent melted cheese from sticking.
Cook your cheese sandwich at 370°F for four minutes.
Then flip that gorgeous sandwich after four minutes and cook it again for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
