While cakes are good to eat, they could also be a beautiful thing to look at.
Making cakes is an art form these days.
The things people can do with cake is absolutely incredible.
And Yulia Kedyarova’s creations are quite exceptional.
Kedyarova’s cakes are a celebration of nature.
Kedyarova’s cakes take inspiration from the cosmos, the flowers, butterflies, and lots of other earthly delights.
Some of her cakes feature multi-tiered cakes that are swirled with different colors to represent the galaxy and speckled with white to represent the stars.
They are topped with tiny globes to show off different planets.
Kedyarova also mimics her cake around things found on Earth.
You’ll find handcrafted and handpainted butterflies that look like they are about to fly off the cake.
Some of her cakes appear to crack right open to reveal a beautiful surprise.
The inside of her cracked open cakes show beautiful rose gardens that seem to defy gravity.
Kedyarova’s other cakes seem to have a chunk taken out of them.
These geode cakes reveal a beautiful colorful display that look like crystal shards.
She also uses a technique that mimics bark so that her cakes look like trees.
Kedyarova also has a fun side.
She features happy figurines, animals, like unicorns, and familiar characters, like her Sonic the Hedgehog cake.
Her ability to paint a whimsical scene is just breathtaking.
Kedyarova cakes don’t fault short on the yum factor.
Some of them are packed full with yummy candy and cookies.
This cake is a chocolate lovers dream.
Her Christmas cakes are even cuter.
They are homey and super festive.
Kedyarova started out making cakes for family and friends. But now she makes them for customers.
“I wanted to make cakes not only tasty, but beautiful. And I want to do the very thing that comes to my head, to embody the idea, especially since there are no standard sets and formats – any desire is embodied,” she said, according to a translation on her website. “I treat each of my products with trepidation and love, I try to do every detail neatly and interestingly, therefore an individual approach is applied to each person. I undertake only those products that I like most, to which the soul lies. In general, I am looking for new ideas, suggestions and interesting projects.”
